Journalist’s Day is an opportunity to honor and celebrate high thinkers who used their work, pen, and art to build a more prosperous city and country and a more informed society;

God’s peace and blessings are upon all the martyred journalists who used the pen as their weapon and the media as a bastion to defend independence and freedom and fight against the rich and powerful. In this proud way, they cut off the world-dominating powers and reached the beloved meeting.

Professional journalism is honorable and in line with telling the truth and writing the fact; as the Prophet of Islam (peace be upon him) said: “Tell the truth and in the way of God, do not be afraid of any blame.”

Undoubtedly, in today’s world of communication, the role of respected members of the media in informing society and raising awareness of public opinion is unique, and the role of the media as the vanguard of the development of understanding, which by using all the capacities and potentials, including art, skill, resourcefulness and Their knowledge, as well as providing a healthy and transparent environment for information and effective communication between the people and the government, is commendable.

The 17th of August this year, which has been compared to Ashura of Hosseini (AS), is a reminder of the great historical, informative and lasting movement of the messenger of the Karbala uprising, Hazrat Zainab (S), who, in the shadow of her insight and understanding of her mission, communicated the message of Ashura to all generations. He is the best role model in this direction.
