Organizing the first meeting of the Coordinating Council for Regional Development of 5 countries

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Minister of Planning and Budget Organization, governors and heads of the Management and Planning Organization of Fars, Bushehr, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Provinces and was hosted by Shiraz. In this meeting, Mohammad Hadi Imaniyeh, the governor of Fars, was elected as the chairman and Ahmad Ali Afkari, the head of the Management and Planning Organization of Fars province, was elected as the secretary of this council for one year.

🔹The first meeting of the Coordination Council for the Development of Region 5 of the country on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, with the presence of Mr. Saeed Vakili, Deputy Minister of Planning and Budget, Mohammad Hadi Imaniyeh, Governor of Fars, Ahmad Mohammadizadeh, Governor of Bushehr, Seyed Ali Ahmadzadeh, Governor Kohgiluyeh and Boyerahmad, Ahmad Ali Afkari, Head of Management and Planning Organization of Fars Province, Ali Darvishi, Head of Management and Planning Organization of Bushehr Province and Ali Shahabi Nasab, Head of Management and Planning Organization of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province and also with the presence of civil engineering deputies of the three provinces The general managers of the passive defense of the governorates, the head of the land management group of the country’s plan and budget organization, the planning deputies and the experts in the field of planning and planning of the management and planning organization of the mentioned provinces were formed.

🔸According to the public relations of Bushehr Management and Planning Organization, coordinating the planning documents of the provinces in a region and coordinating and adapting the provincial planning documents with the national document in order to implement the planning documents of the province and focus the planning documents in all decision stages Making and implementing plans is one of the most important goals of holding these meetings regionally.

🔹In addition to outlining the general issues of territorial Development, the national planning document emphasizes the strategic role and importance of provinces, metropolises and level one cities and partner cities in shaping the desired spatial system of the country on the mentioned horizon.

🔹One of the most important agendas of this meeting, which lasted about two hours, was the appointment of the chairman and secretary of the Coordination Council of Region 5 of the country. They were elected secretary of the council for one year.

The formation of joint working committees to review and present solutions to resolve and reduce regional conflicts and identify common regional areas for synergy in the provinces of the region were other important decisions of this meeting.

One of the highlights of this council is the initiative of Fars, Bushehr, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad provinces to form the Coordination Council of Zone 5 of the country. So far, no region in the country has taken any action, which could be the beginning of Development and prosperity of as many of the mentioned provinces as possible.

It should be noted that the next meeting of this council will be hosted by Bushehr province.
